Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Chauvin Funeral Home and from 8:30 a.m. to funeral time Wednesday at St. Patrick Chapel in Gibson. Service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the chapel She is survived by her parents, Joseph "JY" Authement and Margaret "Mar Mae" McIntire Authement; one brother, Chris Authement; four sisters, Joni Broussard and husband, Dan, Carole Duval and husband, Steve, Fay Kurkjy and husband, Tom, and Anne Authement; and her companion, Leonard Naquin. She was preceded in death by her husband, Nolan "Spike" Rodrigue. She was a retired school teacher in Terrebonne Parish. She was preceded in death by her husband, Nolan "Spike" Rodrigue. She was a graduate of St. Francis de Sales High School and Nicholls State University. She was a retired school teacher in Terrebonne Parish. She was an example of love, kindness and generosity to all who knew her. Her selflessness was epitomized by her good deeds and lifelong commitment to serving others. Her presence in our lives was God's blessing to us all. Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
