Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Samart Funeral Home in Houma and from 8 a.m. to funeral time Friday at Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the church, with burial in Magnolia Cemetery. He is survived by one son, James Patrick Belanger; three daughters, Tina Marie Stutts of Tacoma, Wash., Theresa Ann Belanger of Houma and Melissa Belanger Hebert of Kenner; one brother, Lowrey Belanger Jr.; four sisters, Lorena Blanchard, June Hendon, Clara Brunet and Regina Williams; and one grandson, Kyle Stutts. He was preceded in death by his wife, Irene Eskind Belanger; and his parents, Lowrey Ezra and Alice Pitre Belanger. He was in the National Guard and U.S. Air Force. Samart Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
