Michael J. Rogers, 59, a native of Gheens and resident of Lockport, died at 
10:50 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 9, 2004.

Visitation will be from 7:30 a.m. to funeral time Saturday at Holy Savior 
Catholic Church. Mass will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the church, with burial in 
the church cemetery.

He is survived by his former wife, Mona T. Rogers; one stepdaughter, Desiree 
Boudreaux and husband, Byron Boudreaux; two brothers, Roland Rogers of Florida 
and Kenneth Rogers of Arkansas; one sister, Gail Wilson of Arkansas; and two 
grandchildren, Jordan Picou and Dexi Boudreaux.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Angeline Rogers; and his 
grandparents, Johnny and Julia Bye and T-Clay and Odelia Rogers.

He was a parishioner of Holy Savior Catholic Church.

Samart Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
