Octavia Pertuit

Octavia Pearl Pertuit, 97, a native and resident of Raceland, died at 1:10 p.m. 
Wednesday, Dec. 8, 2004.

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to funeral time Monday at St. Charles Borromeo 
Catholic Church. Mass will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the church, with burial in St. 
Mary Cemetery.

She is survived by two grandchildren, Bonnie Adams Morris and Debbie Anne Adams; 
and two great-grandchildren, David and Michelle Morris.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 75 years, Batson Pertuit; her 
parents, Pierre and Octavia Foret; two sons, Lloyd and Daniel Pertuit; one 
daughter, Bernice Pertuit Adams; four brothers, George, Eugene, Moise and 
Detauville Foret; and three sisters, Mary Louise Gros, Odelia Martin and Lillian 
Danos.

Samart Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
