Visitation will be from 8 a.m. to funeral time Saturday at Calvary United Methodist Church in Thibodaux. Religious service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery. He is survived by his wife, Dolores Jones of Thibodaux; one son, Osben Jones III and wife, Jacqueline, of Thibodaux; one daughter, Stacy Bell and husband, Rosevelt Bell Jr., of Baton Rouge; one brother, Zane Dalton Brown Sr. of Thibodaux; three sisters, Jeanette Thompson, Audrey Coulon and Mable Jones, all of Thibodaux; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents, Osben Sr. and Annie Mae Brown Jones; one son, Karl Micheal Jones, four brothers, Russell Monroe Jones, Lawrence Brown, Welton Jones and Raymond Jones; and two sisters, Annie Mae Jones Thompson and Emma Jones. He was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church and served on the Trustee Board. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War.
