Paul Martinez						[Photo]

Paul J. "Jr." Martinez, 77, a native of New Orleans and resident of Houma, died 
at 8:35 p.m. Friday, Dec. 17, 2004.

A Memorial service will be held at a later date.

He is survived by his wife, Virginia Ritter Martinez of Houma; two sons, Henry 
G. Escat of New Orleans and Paul Cox and wife, Kay Lynn, of Houma; two sisters, 
Pauline Smith and Mary; and five grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Angelo and Lillie M. Martinez; and two 
sisters.

He was employee for 20 years for New Orleans Parkway Commission and was a 
Christian.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes 
Association.
