The date preceding the obituary is the date of posting on the WWW, not the date of death. ============================= December 24. 2004 12:20AM Thelma LeBlanc Thelma Talbot LeBlanc, 90, a native of Napoleonville and resident of Thibodaux, died at 4:45 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 22, 2004. Memorial Mass will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 11, 2005, at St. Anne Catholic Church in Napoleonville. She is survived by one brother, Robert Talbot; one sister, June Berniard; and numerous relatives. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry J. LeBlanc; her parents, Arthur "Stump" Talbot and Anna Prejean Talbot; three brothers, A.C. Talbot Jr., Raymond "Dutch" Talbot and Lawrence O. "Billy" Talbot; and four sisters, Edwina "Itsy" McCollum, Nicee "Brownie" Melancon, Anna French and Flo Fairchild. She was a retired social worker, earned the Grass Roots award by the Parish Directors and was named as the outstanding state worker. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to St. Joseph Hospice, 905 Canal Blvd., Thibodaux, LA 70301.
