"Tommy" Harding Jr., 69, a native of New Orleans and resident of Houma, died Wednesday, Dec. 29, 2004. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to service time Friday at Lakelawn Funeral Home in Metairie. Religious service will be at 11 a.m. Friday in the funeral home chapel. He is survived by two daughters, Margot Vick of Delray Beach, Fla., and Susan Harding of Metairie; one sister, Valerie Harding Claverie of Harvey; one aunt, Vivian "Aunt Bibbie" Vidonne of Gretna; one grandchild, Nicoline Good; two stepchildren, Ingrid Crawley King and Kendall Crawley; five stepgrandchildren; his companion and longtime friend, Catherine Rayne Chaisson; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Harding Sr. and Valerie Baker Harding. He was a retired car salesman having worked in the business all his life. His last job was with Dixieland Auto Sales in New Orleans. He was proud to be an American, having served in the U.S. Army. He was a likeable guy who loved sports and people. His favorite teams were the Saints and the LSU Tigers. He will be fondly missed by all. Lakelawn Funeral Home in Metairie is in charge of arrangements.
