Verda Babin						[Photo]

Verda Mae Morris Babin, 84, a native of Wilbarger County, Texas, and resident of 
Chauvin, died at 6:04 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 22, 2004.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.

She is survived by one son, Chester Parker and wife, Sherrie, of Chauvin; one 
sister, Geraldine Odom of Vernon, Texas; and numerous grandchildren, great-
grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Babin; her parents, Finis Redic 
Morris and Maggie Elizabeth Sanders Morris; one son, Angus Babin; two daughters, 
Betty Lou Parker and Wanda Greenwood; one grandson, Danny Hulan; and numerous 
brothers and sisters.

She was a retired self-employed bar owner.
