Visitation will be from 6 to 10 p.m. today at Chauvin Funeral Home and from 8:30 a.m. to funeral time Tuesday at Annunziata Catholic Church. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church, with burial in Holy Rosary Cemetery. She is survived by three sons, C.J. Breaux and wife, Wanda, Kenneth Breaux and wife, Amelia, and Pat Breaux and wife, Connie, of Houma; six daughters, Barbara Ellender, Carolyn Trosclair and husband, Ruben, Sharon Trahan and husband, Frank, Tammy Chauvin, Connie Breaux of Houma and Pam Moore and husband, Paul, of Bayou Blue; two brothers, Floyd Samanie of Houma and Ray Samanie of Gray; one sister, Mrs. Cleon (Peck) Morgan of Houma; 17 grandchildren, Myra, Mark, Cindy, Todd, Blair, Greg, Kristy, Keith, Melissa, Dane, Brent, Joshua, Holly, Jason, Jared, Jordan and Johnathan; 12 great-grandchildren, Miranda, Justin, Hunter, Brady, Bryce, Brianna, T.J., Jade, Mekiyah, Mason, Alyssa and Baron; and two step-great-grandchildren, Blaine and Mathew. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Breaux; her parents, Ivy Samanie Sr. and Angele Hebert Samanie; two daughters; four brothers, Ivy Samanie Jr., Julius Samanie, Emile Samanie and Lionel Samanie; two sisters, Hilda Carroll and Irene Samanie; one grandson; and one son-in-law, Whitney Ellender. She was a homemaker and a former member of the Ladies Altar Society. She was a parishioner of Annunziata Catholic Church. Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
