Augustin Theriot					[Photo]

Augustin "Gus" Theriot, 102, a native and resident of Raceland, died at 9:10 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 2, 2005.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to funeral time Wednesday at St. Mary's Catholic 
Church in Raceland. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church, with burial 
in the church cemetery.

He is survived by one daughter, Mildred T. Bourgeois; three grandchildren, Nancy 
B. Foret, Chris G. Bourgeois and Karen B. Breaux; two great-grandchildren, 
Nicole M. Bourgeois and Jai J. Breaux; one great-great-grandchild, Abby Joel 
Thomassie; and two sisters, Inez T. Boudreaux and Ethel T. Foret.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 77 years, May Bourgeois Theriot; his 
parents, Louis Theriot Sr. and Mathilde Gaudet Theriot; one brother, Louis 
Theriot Jr.; five sisters, Edwith T. Melancon, Elena T. Babin, Edna T. Degruise, 
Lydia T. Danos and Exse T. Waguespack; and one grandchild, Joel J. Bourgeois.

He was a parishioner of St. Mary's Catholic Church.

Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
