Bilello, 93, a native and resident of Thibodaux, died at 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 14, 2005. Visitation will be from 8:30 a.m. to funeral time Monday at St. Joseph Co- Cathedral. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery. He is survived by his wife, Gladys Zeringue Bilello; three sons, A.J. Bilello and wife, Dot, Gregory "Buddy" Bilello and wife, Ann, and Leo Bilello; two daughters, Lena Ledet and Betty Jean Daigle and husband, Francis; one stepson, Larry LeBlanc and wife, Mary; two stepdaughters, Marian Barker and husband, Donovan, and Deannie Pere' and husband, Ronnie; three brothers, Sam, Joe and Tony Bilello; 26 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; and one great-great- grandchild. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Bessie Bono Bilello; his parents, A.J. and Lena Bilello; two brothers, Lucien and Carlo Bilello; and one son-in- law, Kermit Ledet. He was Catholic and a member of the Krewe of Christopher in Houma and Thibodaux and the Krewe of Chronos in Thibodaux. He was employed at Nicholls State University in the game room for more than 20 years. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society.
