Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday and from 9 a.m. to funeral time Friday at Chauvin Funeral Home. Prayer service will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home chapel, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery. She is survived by her husband, Charles J. Gaudet of Houma; two daughters, Jennifer Champagne and husband, James, of Houma, and Patricia Melancon and husband, Barry, of Rye, N.Y.; one brother, Donald Adam of Houma; five grandchildren, Jami Champagne, James Paul Champagne, Julie Champagne, John Champagne and Connor Melancon. She was preceded in death by her parents, Kirby Adam and Althes Guidry Adam. She was a retired librarian in Jefferson Parish. She was a parishioner of Maria Immacolata Catholic Church.
