Delma Scoby						[Photo]

Delma Thomas Scoby, 78, a native of Terrebonne Parish and resident of Houma, 
died 9 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 26, 2005.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Monday at Residence Baptist 
Church. Funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. Monday at the church, with burial 
in Woodlawn Ranch Cemetery.

She is survived by her husband, the Rev. Earl Scoby Sr.; one son, Timothy Scoby; 
two daughters, Early Branch and husband, Edward, and Bernadette Matthews and 
husband, Darryl; two brothers, Irvin Thomas Sr. and James Thomas; one sister, 
Hilda Thomas; 14 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Anthony and Vivian Soco Thomas; four 
sons, Earl Scoby Jr., Tedrick Scoby, Terry Scoby and Allen J. Scoby; and four 
brothers, Eli, Earl Freddie, Allen and Anthony Thomas Jr.

She was a member of Residence Baptist Church.
