The date preceding the obituary is the date of posting on the WWW, not the date of death. ============================= January 11. 2005 12:46PM Edith Folse [Photo] Edith "Poochie" Jones Folse, 67, a native of Lockport and resident of Mathews, died at 1:05 p.m. Monday, Jan. 10, 2005. Visitation will be from 6 to 10 p.m. today at Falgout Funeral Home in Lockport and from 9 a.m. to funeral time Wednesday at St. Hilary Catholic Church. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church, with burial in Holy Savior Cemetery in Lockport. She is survived by her husband, James Folse Sr.; her mother, Verna Mae Martin Jones; one son, James "Jacques" Folse Jr.; one daughter, Cynthia Folse Mire; three sisters, Pam J. Patron, Verna J. Toups and Gwen J. Bourgeois; and four grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, Dr. Guy R. Jones. She was founding member of the Bayou Lafourche Folklife and Heritage Museum and founding member of the Lockport Community Arts Guild. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Holy Savior School or St. Joseph Hospice.
