Guidroz, 81, a native of Lockport and resident of Mathews, died 9:43 p.m. Friday, Jan. 28, 2005. Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. today and from 8 to 10:30 a.m. Monday at Falgout Funeral Home in Raceland. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Hilary of Poitiers Catholic Church in Mathews, with burial in Holy Savior Cemetery in Lockport. He is survived by his wife, Maude Triche Guidroz; two daughters and sons-in-law, Lettie David and husband, Dean David, and Teala Savoie and husband, Oray Savoie Jr.; one brother, Malcolm Guidroz; nine grandchildren, Scott Curole, Cassie and Wade Rogers, Hayley and Ryan Beduze, Kelsey Savoie, Christie and Scott Duet, and Brad David; and two great-grandchildren, Tyler Marcel and Carmen Duet. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Noelie Comeaux Guidroz; one son, Chris Guidroz; and one grandson, Bradley Curole. He was a parishioner of St. Hilary of Poitiers Catholic Church and served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and past commander of Freddie John Falgout Post No. 3665 and American Legion Post No. 83. He was a retired employee of the Louisiana Department of Motor Vehicles. Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
