Ella Arceneaux

Ella Cheramie Arceneaux, 89, died Monday, Jan. 17, 2005.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Mothe Funeral Home in Harvey, 
with burial in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery.

She is survived by five daughters, Dorothy Fanguy, Joyce Raffray, Lois Raffray, 
Mary Richoux and Emelda "Flossie" Bourgeois; four sons-in-law, Widley Fanguy, 
George Raffray, Dave Bourgeois and David Perez; one brother, Gus Cheramie; one 
sister, Elvira Rodrigue; eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and one 
great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Adam J. Arceneaux; her parents, Joseph 
Cheramie and Eugenie Bychurch Cheramie; one son-in-law, Robert Raffray; one 
brother, Clifton Cheramie; one sister, Angella Leonard; and one grandchild.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Alzheimer's 
Association of Greater New Orleans, 1040 Calhoun St., New Orleans, LA 70118.
