Oubre, 62, a native and resident of Hahnville, died at 10:20 p.m. Monday, Jan. 17, 2005. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Saturday at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Hahnville. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church, with burial in St. Charles Cemetery in Luling. He is survived by two sons, Blaine and Britten Oubre; four brothers, Charles Jr., Gail, Roland and Bernard Oubre; two sisters, Susie Oubre and Sandra Oubre; and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sandra M. Oubre; and his parents, Charles and Felcie Keller Oubre. He was a schoolteacher with St. Charles Parish Public School and was a U.S. Air Force veteran. He was a member of the American Legion Post No. 131 of Luling and a parishioner of Our Lady of Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
