Visitation will be from 4 to 10 p.m. today at Chauvin Funeral Home and from 9 a.m. to funeral time Wednesday at Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery. He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Savoie Bergeron of Houma; his mother, Dorothy Bourg Bergeron of Houma; one son, Wendal Bergeron and wife, Cheryl, of Houma; one daughter, Kathy Bergeron Brien and fiance, David Charnick, of Houma; three brothers, Nolan A. Bergeron of Houma, Ronnie Bergeron of Morgan City and Jerry Bergeron of Houma; three sisters, Barbara B. Welch, Sylvia B. Gray of Houma and Nancy B. Detiveaux of Bourg; one step-brother, Jimmy Bivens of Bourg; two grandchildren, Beau Michael Bergeron and Lance Michael Brien; two step- grandchildren, Chad Michael Folse and Ben Joseph Folse; and two step-great- grandchildren, Taylor Lynn Folse and Marlie Gabrielle Folse. He was preceded in death by his father, Lawrence Bergeron. He was a retired bus driver for Terrebonne Parish School Board for 30 years and ran East Main Supermarket. He was a parishioner of Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
