Jane Harris Barker, 87, a native and lifelong resident of New Orleans died 
Sunday, Jan. 23, 2005.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Saturday at Lake Lawn Metairie 
Funeral Home Chapel. Mass will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home 
chapel, with burial in Metairie Cemetery.

She is survived by one son, Charles Paul Barker Jr.; three daughters, Joanne B. 
Gianelloni, Charlene B. Forman and Mary Elizabeth B. Cooney; two brothers, 
Donald J. Harris and Brother Delbert Andrew Harris; two sisters, Marie Harris 
Schell and Joel Harris Robicheaux; 16 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.

She was a member of the Daughters of 1812 and Daughters of the American 
Revolution.

She was a homemaker.

In lieu of flowers, Masses are preferred.
