The date preceding the obituary is the date of posting on the WWW, not the date of death. ============================= January 21. 2005 12:00AM Joyce McKay [Photo] Joyce Mae Calloway McKay, 55, a native of Terrebonne Parish and resident of Houma, died at 9:15 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2005. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Saturday at Greater St. Matthews Baptist Church. Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church, with burial in Halfway Cemetery. She is survived by one daughter, Lakenya McKay of Houma; five brothers, Joseph, Gramble, Albert Jr. and Orris Woolens, all of Thibodaux, and Micheal Woolens of Dularge; and four sisters, Pamela Link and Beatrice Hosten, both of Houma, and Cynthia Woolens and Gwendolyn Woolens, both of Thibodaux. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elijah McKay Sr.; her parents, Albert Sr. and Rose Calloway Woolens; two sons, Jerome Micheal McKay and Elijah McKay Jr.; and one grandson, DeAnte' Jamal McKay. She was a retired housekeeper of the Ramada Inn and was a member of Greater St. Matthews Baptist Church.
