The date preceding the obituary is the date of posting on the WWW, not the date of death. ============================= January 31. 2005 12:00AM Larry Cavalier Sr. Larry Joseph Cavalier Sr., 89, a native of Assumption Parish and resident of Belle Chase, died at 1 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 30, 2005. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Tuesday at Grace Lutheran Church. Religious service will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the church, with burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2. He is survived by two sons, Larry J. Cavalier Jr. and wife, Audrey, of Labadieville and Ronald J. Cavalier and wife, Linda, of Belle Chase; one daughter, Fay C. Dix and husband, Edward, of Frisco, Texas; eight grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lucille Hezeau Cavalier; his parents, Atanas Cavalier and Lucy Cedatol Cavalier; one daughter, Barbara C. Labat; three brothers, Leo, Henry and Harry Cavalier; and two sisters, Anna Cavalier and Mary Ann Cavalier. He was a retired relay operator with Freeport Sulphur Company and was a U.S. Army veteran. He was a member of Grace Lutheran Church.
