Contact Chauvin Funeral Home for date and time of services at 868-2536. He is survived by his wife, Beth Ledet of Houma; one son, Leo C. Ledet Jr. of Houma; one brother, Francis A. Ledet of New Orleans; one grandchild; and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Alphonse Ledet and Elenor Bourgeois Ledet; and one sister, Marie L. Hardin. He was a retired insurance agent and was a U.S. Army veteran. He served on the board of Terrebonne Bank (Bank One), founder and board member of Terrebonne Savings and Loan, chairman of Heart Foundation and a member of Terrebonne Insurance Agent Exchange and the Knights of Columbus. Visitation will be from 8 a.m. to funeral time Saturday at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church, with burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 1. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Beth Ledet of Houma; one son, Leo C. Ledet Jr. of Houma; one brother, Francis A. Ledet of New Orleans; one grandchild, Cherie Ledet Rhodes; and one great-grandchild, Amanda Michelle Rhodes. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Alphonse Ledet and Elenor Bourgeois Ledet; and one sister, Marie L. Hardin. He was a retired insurance agent and was a U.S. Army veteran.
