Lester Comardelle

Lester Joseph Comardelle, 84, a native of Des Allemands and resident of Bayou 
Gauche, died Wednesday, Jan. 12, 2005.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Saturday at Falgout Funeral Home 
in Raceland. Religious service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, 
with burial in Sunset Cemetery.

He is survived by four sons, Clarence, Norman, Loveless Sr. and Luther 
Comardelle Sr.; two daughters, Susie St. Claire and Niki Ferguson; one sister, 
Jeanne C. Dufrene; 17 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Nellie Dufrene Comardelle; his parents, 
Marc Alcide and Louise Dufrene Comardelle; four brothers, Roy, Fergust, Peter 
and Ludwig Comardelle; three sisters, Esther C. Dufrene, Martha C. Matherne and 
Selina C. Morehouse; and one grandson.
