Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Saturday at Residence Baptist Church. Religious service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church, with burial in Union Benevolent Cemetery. He is survived by his devoted niece, Gloria Carter; one nephew, Patrick McGuin Sr.; four grand nieces, Stephanie A. McGuin, Keoka Carter, Stephanie Patterson and Patricia Moses; and four grand nephews, Elroy, Patrick Jr., Maceo and Courtney. He was preceded in death by his wife, Thelma Mae Gabriel Castle; his parents, Robert and Rosalie Lyons Castle; two sons, Percy and Loyce Castle Jr.; two brothers, Robert Castle Jr. and Dyis Castle; and one sister, Joyce Castle. He was a former employee of Southdown Sugar Refinery and a member of Residence Baptist Church. Gertrude Geddes Willis-Terrebonne Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
