Magnus Voisin, Sr.					[Photo]

Magnus "Lookie" Voisin Sr., 73, a native and resident of Dulac, died at 10 p.m. 
Saturday, Jan. 15, 2005.

Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. today at Samart Funeral Home in Houma and 
from 8 a.m. to funeral time Tuesday at Holy Family Catholic Church in Dulac. 
Mass will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church, with burial in the church 
cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Elvira "Blackie" Klingman Voisin; one son, Magnus 
Voisin Jr. and wife, Kathleen; two daughters, Nancy V. Parfait and husband, 
Antcine Jr., and Rose V. Breaux and husband, Nolan "Jay" Jr; two brothers, Addie 
and Norman Voisin, eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

He was proceeded in death by his parents, Laurant and Angel Trosclair Voisin; 
two brothers, Clarence and Dalfres Voisin; four sisters, Josephine Lirette, 
Lorita Trahan and Lucretia and Theresa Voisin.

He was a member of the Holy Name Society and a 4th degree Knights of Columbus 
and board member for the Grand Caillou Fire Department.

He was Catholic and a self-employed fisherman.
