Marie Pitre						[Photo]

Marie Fournier Pitre, 88, a native and resident of Raceland, died at 12:10 a.m. 
Monday, Jan. 3, 2005.

Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and from 8 a.m. to funeral time 
Thursday at Falgout Funeral Home in Raceland. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Thursday 
at St. Mary's Catholic Church, with burial in the church cemetery.

She is survived by one son, Benton Pitre and fiancee, Twila Quick; three 
brothers, Glynn, Gene and Peter Fournier; one grandchild; and one step-
grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Pitre; her parents, Etienne "T-
Chan" and Cecile Lodrigue Fournier; and seven brothers, John, Herbert, Novene, 
Etienne, Alden, Lester and Robert Fournier.

She was a parishioner of St. Mary's Catholic Church.
