The date preceding the obituary is the date of posting on the WWW, not the date of death. ============================= January 17. 2005 12:40PM Mary Jordan [Photo] Mary Elizabeth "Betty" Attebery Jordan, 75, a native of Eagle Mills, Ark., and resident of Houma, died at 8:52 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 15, 2005. Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to funeral time Tuesday at Chauvin Funeral Home. Religious service will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home chapel. Visitation will be at 8 a.m. Thursday at Madden Funeral Home in Foreman, Ark., with graveside services at 11 a.m. at Dollarhyde Cemetery in Foreman. She is survived by three sons, Steven Jordan and wife, Robin, James Jordan and wife, Manami, of Houma, and John Jordan and wife, Joann, of Owasso, Okla.; one sister, Lorene Crawford of Ashdown, Ark.; and five grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Floyd Jordan; her parents, John Thomas Attebery Sr. and Elsie Bratton Attebery; one brother, John Attebery; and one sister, Avis Sutton. She was a registered nurse at Leonard J. Chabert Medical Center and Terrebonne General Medical Center. She was a board member for START Corporation and was a member of First Baptist Church.
