Nora Gaudet

Nora Daigle Gaudet, 94, a native of Thibodaux and resident of Baton Rouge, died 
at 5:10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 12, 2005.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to funeral time Friday at Falgout Funeral Home 
in Raceland. Mass will be at 2 p.m. Friday at St. Mary Catholic Church in 
Raceland, with burial in the church cemetery.

She is survived by one son, Sidney Daigle Jr. of Thibodaux; one daughter, 
Loretta Chauvin of Baton Rouge; four grandchildren; and four great-
grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Sidney Daigle Sr.; her second 
husband, Jules Gaudet; her parents, Rudolph and Julia Bernard Soignet; four 
brothers, Harry, Clarence, Elmo and R.J. Soignet; and four sisters, Jeanne 
Trosclair, Bessie Webre, Nettie Richard and Winnie Gaudet.
