Norris Doucet

Norris M. Doucet, 89, a native of Golden Meadow and resident of Larose, died at 
5:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 26, 2005.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to funeral time Friday at Sacred Heart Catholic 
Church in Cut Off. Mass will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the church, with burial in 
the church cemetery.

He is survived by one brother, Freddie Doucet; and three sisters, Zulma D. 
Dantin, Linda D. Dominque and Alice D. Lafont.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Angeline Pitre Doucet; his second 
wife, Dorothy Klotz Doucet; his parents, Fremin and Alice Melancon Doucet; and 
five brothers, Fremin "V" Doucet Jr., Dewey, Ocean, Wesley and Eddie Doucet.

He was a retired boat captain for Texaco and was a 3rd degree Knights of 
Columbus Council No. 3150 and a member of the Holy Name Society.

He was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
