Olive Shaw

Olive Nissle Shaw, 89, a native of East Orange, N.J., and resident of Santa 
Cruz, Calif., died Saturday, Jan. 1, 2005.

A memorial service will at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 15, 2005, at Benito and Azzaro 
Pacific Gardens Chapel in Santa Cruz.

She is survived by her husband, John B. Shaw; one daughter, Anne Shaw Barnaby; 
one son, Walter Stephen Shaw; and two grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Henrietta Nissle.

She was an English major and a World War II Navy veteran.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Dominican Hospital, 1555 
Soquet Drive, Santa Cruz, CA 95065.
