Rita Bourgeois						[Photo]

Rita Maronge Bourgeois, 78, a native and resident of Thibodaux, died at 1:07 
p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 25, 2005.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. today at St. Joseph Co-Cathedral in 
Thibodaux, with burial in the church cemetery.

She is survived by three sons, Eves Bourgeois, Jeffery Bourgeois and Jimmy 
Bourgeois; five daughters, Raydell Pitre, Laura Tiegen, Linda Gros, Irene Hebert 
and Sharon Domangue; one brother, Adam Maronge; 34 grandchildren; 43 great-
grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilson Bourgeois Sr.; her parents, 
Eves and Adams Maronge; two sons, Wilson Bourgeois Jr. and Allen Bourgeois; 
three brothers, Camille, Clement and Emile Maronge; and one sister, Verna Babin.
