Robert Williams					[Photo]

Robert Williams, 96, a native of Thibodaux and resident of New Orleans and 
Houma, died Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2005.

Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Gertrude Geddes Willis-Terrebonne 
Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Calvary 
AME Cemetery.

He is survived by his nephew, Johns Williams of Thibodaux; his niece and 
caregiver, Maria Richardson of Houma; his godchild, Samuel Williams of New 
Orleans; and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel Williams and Lucy Anderson 
Williams; one brother, John Williams; and one sister, Esther Williams Gay.

He was a World War II veteran and a parishioner of St. David Catholic Church in 
New Orleans.

Gertrude Geddes Willis-Terrebonne Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
