Roland Cole						[Photo]

Roland N. Cole, 71, a native and resident of Thibodaux, died Thursday, Dec. 30, 
2004.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to funeral time Wednesday at New Morning Star 
Baptist Church in Labadieville. Religious service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at 
the church, with burial in the church cemetery.

He is survived by and was the guardian of Alisa Ward and Trayon Ward of 
Thibodaux; two brothers, Clarence Anderson Sr. of Houma and LeRoyal Cole Sr. of 
Port Allen; and one sister, Fawvette Coleman of New Orleans.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Essie Johnson Cole; his parents, Alice 
Cole Anderson and Paul Cole; one brother, Lionel Cole; and one sister, Eldora 
Cole.

He was a member of New Morning Star Baptist Church and served on the Usher 
Board.
