Scott, 69, a native of Houma and resident of Bayou Blue, died at 11:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 4, 2005. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to funeral time Friday at Samart Funeral Home. Service will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, with burial in Rogers Cemetery. She is survived by her companion, Herbert W. Merkel; two sons, Timothy and Keith Scott; two daughters, Suzanne B. Theriot and husband, Mark, and Roxanne S. Auzian and husband, Terry; two sisters, Morine Savoie and husband, Earl, and Gloria Felton and husband, Allen; four grandchildren; and three great- grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lyle Bergeron and Jessie Pontiff Bergeron; and one brother, Ernest Bergeron. She was retired and was Catholic.
