Rose Matherne						[Photo]

Rose Matherne, 63, a native of Grand Caillou and resident of Houma, died at 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 2, 2005.

Visitation will be from 8 a.m. to funeral time Wednesday at Holy Rosary Catholic 
Church in Houma. Mass will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the church, with burial in 
the church cemetery.

She is survived by her husband, Gary Paul Matherne; her mother, Clothilde 
Frisella; two daughters, Paula Chatagnier and husband, Randy, and Theresa 
Crochet and Dirk; two brothers, Joe Frisella and wife, Lydia, and John Frisella 
and wife, Carla; two sisters, Kathy Duplantis and husband, Roger, and Jeanette 
Schnexyder and husband, Phil; her most favorite grandson, Matthew Paul 
Chatagnier; and her most favorite granddaughter, Rosa Maria Escalante.

She was preceded in death by her father, Joe Friselia Jr.

She was a loving wife, caring mother and giving grandmother.

She was Catholic.
