The date preceding the obituary is the date of posting on the WWW, not the date of death. ============================= January 26. 2005 12:00AM Roy LeBlanc [Photo] Roy Joseph LeBlanc, 82, a native of Terrebonne Parish and resident of Houma, died at 9:45 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 25, 2005. Visitation will be from 6 to 10 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. to funeral time Thursday at Chauvin Funeral Home. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home chapel, with burial in Terrebonne Memorial Park Cemetery. He is survived by his wife, Jeanne Menard LeBlanc of Houma; one daughter, Mildred Young and husband, Richard, of Arabie, Ga.; one brother, J.C. LeBlanc of Houma; one sister, Helen LaBord of New Orleans; two half-sisters, Connie Jone of Picayune, Miss., and Sadie Roberts of Madisonville, Texas; three grandchildren, Rickey Bergeron and wife, Kim, Kevin Bergeron and wife, Estelle, and Pamela Thomas and husband, Terry; and seven great-grandchildren, Zane Bergeron, Gauge Bergeron, Dustin Falgout, Christen Armstrong, Christopher Daigle, Jessie Daigle and Magen Allemand. He was preceded in death by his parents, Fleming C. LeBlanc and Audrey LeBoeuf LeBlanc. He was a truck driver with Southern Pacific Railroad Company and was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He was a parishioner of St. Bernadette Catholic Church. Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
