Visitation will be from 5 to 10 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. to funeral time Tuesday at Montegut Fire Station. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, with burial in the church cemetery. She is survived by her husband, John M. Smith of Montegut; two sons, David James Smith and wife, Randa, and Tommy John Smith and wife, Dawn, of Montegut; two brothers, Ernest Crochet and Joseph Crochet of Montegut; three sisters, Rosie Bourg, Beatrice Trahan of Montegut and Gertie Johnson of Houma; three grandchildren, Amber Nicole Marie Smith, Candie Ann Smith and Somer Elizabeth Smith; and two great-grandchildren, Aryianna Nicole Dardar and Haylee Boudreaux. She was preceded in death by her parents, James Crochet and Alixiana Price Crochet; four brothers, Paul, Walter, Wicklef and Heary Crochet; and one sister, Josephine Bourg. She was a homemaker and a parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
