The date preceding the obituary is the date of posting on the WWW, not the date of death. ============================= January 25. 2005 12:00AM Sidney Fabregas Sidney Joseph Fabregas, 78, a native of Houma and resident of Pinehurst, Texas, died Thursday, Jan. 20, 2005. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Magnolia Funeral Home in Magnolia, Texas. Catholic vigil wake service will be at 7 p.m. today at the funeral home. Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Matthias Catholic Church in Magnolia, with private burial in the V.A. Houston National Cemetery. He is survived by his wife, Beryl Jackson Fabregas; three sons, Kenneth Fabregas and wife, Shannon, of Pinehurst, Kerry Fabregas of Magnolia and Tommy Fabregas and wife, Krista, of Stafford, Texas; one daughter, Peggy Perkins and husband, Larry, of Highlandville, Mo.; one sister, Margaret F. Canafax of Houma; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents, Martin L. and Annie Chauvin Fabregas; three brothers, Ernest, Frank and Martin; and two sisters, Leonore F. LaCoste and Annie F. Dishman. He was retired from Homco International as International Sales and Product Manager and was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran of World War II. He was an active member of Piney Woods "A" Club, Coastal Plains Airstream Club, Magnolia Chamber of Commerce and a parishioner of St. Matthias Catholic Church in Magnolia.
