Stephen Lapeyrouse					[Photo]

Stephen Joseph Lapeyrouse, 63, a native of Chauvin and resident of Houma, died 
at 3:45 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 11, 2005.

Visitation will be from 5 to 10 p.m. Wednesday at Chauvin Funeral Home and from 
8:30 a.m. to funeral time Thursday at Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Mass will be 
at 10 a.m. Thursday at the church, with burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery 
No. 2.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara Cunningham Lapeyrouse of Houma; two sons, 
Darrell Lapeyrouse and wife, Donna, and Jerome Lapeyrouse of Houma; one 
daughter, Danita Lapeyrouse Dinger and husband, Eric, of Houma; one brother, 
Mark Lapeyrouse of Chauvin; three sisters, Linda Vega of Chauvin, June Trosclair 
of Larose and Claudette Lirette of Chauvin; five grandchildren, Haley 
Lapeyrouse, Devin Lapeyrouse, Katelyn Lapeyrouse, Ericka Dinger and Hannah 
Dinger; and one step-grandchild, Austin Berggren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Leo W. Lapeyrouse and Louise Picou 
Lapeyrouse; and one brother, Leland Lapeyrouse.

He was a self-employed tugboat owner with L & L Towing and was a member of the 
Knights of Columbus.

He was a parishioner of Holy Rosary Catholic Church.

Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
