Yvonne Plaisance

Yvonne Lorraine Plaisance, 76, a native of Cut Off and resident of Larose, died 
at 8 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 11, 2005.

Visitation will be from 8 a.m. to funeral time Thursday at First Baptist Church 
in Larose. Service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the church, with burial in 
Holy Rosary Cemetery.

She is survived by three sons, Clinton J. Plaisance and wife, Leona, the Rev. 
Dudley Plaisance and Keith Plaisance and wife, Mary; two daughters, Susan P. 
Duet and husband, Wiley, and Debra P. Adams and husband, Jimmie Jr.; one sister, 
Nomeia L. Terrebonne; 16 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dudley "Bolo" A. Plaisance Sr.; her 
parents, Alsidor and Lorenza Chabert Lorraine; one son, Tommy Luke Plaisance; 
one daughter, Sharon P. Cannatella; three brothers, Kirby, William and Willie 
Lorraine; and one grandson, Clinton Plaisance Jr.

She was a member of First Baptist Church of Larose and was a homemaker.
