Alvin Savoie

Alvin "The Bike Man" Savoie, 80, a native of Larose and resident of Thibodaux, 
died Wednesday Feb. 2, 2005.

Visitation will be from 11:30 a.m. to funeral time today at Holy Rosary Catholic 
Church in Larose. Mass will be at 2 p.m. today at the church, with burial in the 
church cemetery.

He is survived by one son, John Thibodaux; two brothers, Ernest Savoie Sr. and 
Larry Savoie; three sisters, Agnes S. Guidry, Annie S. Cheramie and Louise S. 
Adams; one grandchild; and one great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Patsy Holder Savoie; his second 
wife, Rose Boudreaux Savoie; his parents, Arsene Savoie and Marie Hebert Savoie; 
one daughter, Suzanne S. Gaubert; five brothers, Clarence, Joseph, Edward, John 
and Claude Savoie; and one sister, Emily S. Lombas.

He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
