Visitation will be from 1 to 5 p.m. Friday at Community Funeral Home and from 7 a.m. to funeral time Saturday at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church in Donaldsonville. Religious service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery. She is survived by four sons, George Madison Jr., Gregory V. Madison, Stanley J. Madison Sr. and Charles R. Madison; two daughters, Maxine M. Poindexter and Carol M. Patterson; one brother, Percy Francois; three sisters, Beatrice Brown, Irma Obear and Thelma Carter; 13 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Madison; her parents, Willie Anderson and Anna Morris Anderson Shields; one son, Andrew Lee Madison; one brother, Curtis Shields; and one sister, Viola A. Hubb. She was a member of Mt. Moriah Baptist Church.
