George Boyd						[Photo]

George "Snook Boo" Edison Boyd, 56, a native of Raceland and resident of 
Thibodaux, died Monday, Jan. 31, 2005.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Friday at Third Zion Baptist 
Church in Raceland. Religious service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the church, 
with burial in the church cemetery.

He is survived by four sisters, Carrie Toussaint of Thibodaux; Jo Ann Griffin of 
Raceland, Malinda Lazard of Larose and Pamela Boyd of Monroe; and three 
brothers, Lawrence and Donald Boyd of Raceland and Walter Boyd of Longview, 
Texas.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Lubertha Allen Boyd; three 
sisters, Anna Lee Boyd, Rosa Lee Boyd and Roxanne Boyd; and one brother, Michael 
Boyd.

He was Baptist.
