Gilmas Cheramie Jr.

Gilmas "Butch" J. Cheramie Jr., 58, a native and resident of Galliano, died 
Wednesday, Feb. 23, 2005.

Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday at Samart Funeral Home in Cut Off and 
from 9 a.m. to funeral time Saturday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Galliano. 
Mass will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church, with burial in the church 
cemetery.

He is survived by his mother, Augusta Adams Cheramie; three brothers, Curtis, 
Danny and Dale Cheramie; two sisters, Gail Lafont and Debbie Dufrene; and seven 
nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Gilmas Cheramie Sr.; his grandparents, 
Willie Cheramie and Evelia Cantrelle and Lezie Adams and Alice Guidry Adams; and 
one brother, Ronald James Cheramie.
