Gladys Cheramie

Gladys "Glaze" Pierce Cheramie, 92, a native and resident of Cut Off, died at 
6:22 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2005.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to funeral time Friday at Sacred Heart Catholic 
Church in Cut Off. Mass will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the church, with burial in 
the church cemetery.

She is survived by two sons, Donald Cheramie and wife, Harriet, and Ronnie 
Charamie and wife, Sandra; two daughters, Anna Mae Plaisance and husband, 
Jimmie, and Hazel Dantin and husband, Terry; 10 grandchildren; and 11 great-
grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Waldo Cheramie; her parents, Edgar and 
Oleida Bruce Pierce; four brothers, Horace, Wallace, Forest and Alex Pierce; and 
three sisters, Stella Hunter, Ella Ledet and Lucia Cheramie.

She was a homemaker and a member of the Catholic Daughters.

She was Catholic.
