Jason Smith Sr.

Jason Peter Smith Sr., 85, a native of Houma and resident of Metairie, died 
Tuesday, Feb. 8, 2005.

Funeral services were held Thursday at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home in Metairie, 
with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery.

He is survived by one son, Jason "Jay" P. Smith Jr.; five daughters, Joan 
Klevorn, Geri Cardinale, Charlene Bourgeois, Sally Simoneaux and Melissa Dunlar; 
two sisters, Myrtle Matherne and Yvonne Fournier; 13 grandchildren; and four 
great-grandchildren.

He was a retired plumbing supply warehouse manager and was a U.S. Army Air Corp 
veteran of World War II and the Korean War.
