Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday at Community Funeral Home and from 9 a.m. to funeral time Saturday at Wesley United Methodist Church. Religious service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church, with burial in Deweyville Cemetery. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Victoria Baker Beo; one son, Renard Jeffery Beo; three daughters, Gilda L. Knighton and husband, Douglas, Dianna L. Moses and husband, Wendell, and Loretta A. Beo; two foster daughters, Elaine Charles and Carolyn Howard and husband, Bernie; two sisters, Beulah Peterson of Sacramento, Calif., and Wilma Beo of New Orleans; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Sr. and Harriet Mason Beo; his grandparents, Ramonte Billiot and Sarah Gautreaux Billiot; one brother, Spencer Beo; and two sisters, Rose L. Jackson and Yvonne Beo. He was a retired self-employed painter for 50 years and was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of Stone Square Lodge No. 239, Terrebonne Parish Men's Day Association and a member of Wesley United Methodist Church. He was well-known for his honesty and the high quality of his craftsmanship. Community Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
