Lelia Allemand

Lelia Punch Allemand, 81, a native of Valentine and resident of Larose, died Tuesday, Feb. 8, 2005.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to funeral time Thursday at Our Lady of the 
Rosary Catholic Church in Larose. Mass will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the church, 
with burial in the church cemetery.

She is survived by four sons, Russell, Michael, Wayne and Bret Allemand; three 
daughters, Audrey Barrios, Dianne Welch and Deadra Naccio; one brother, Raymond 
Punch; four sisters, Rowena Dominique, Mable LeBlanc, Wildred Ougel and Audrey 
Chabert; 19 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-
grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Abel Allemand; her parents, 
Sylvere Claude Punch and Arianne Parr Punch; four brothers, Orice, Antoine, 
Alvin and Nolise Punch; three sisters, Eleonore Richardelle, Eva Guidry and 
Leona Delaune; and one daughter-in-law, Judy Allemand.

She was a member of the Ladies Altar Society and was Catholic.
