Loadis Dartez

Loadis Blackie Dartez, 82, a native of Kaplan and resident of Cut Off, died at 
11:50 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 13, 2005.

Visitation will be from 2:30 p.m. to funeral time today at Sacred Heart Catholic 
Church. Mass will be at 3 p.m. today at the church, with burial in the church 
cemetery.

He is survived by two daughters, Clara Voisin and Mary Lee Veronica Guidry; one 
brother, Harry Dartez; three sisters, Rita Lasoue, Jennie Melse and Joyce 
Joubert; seven grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Pearl Dartez; his parents, Elise and 
Elizlda Leleaux Dartez; and one sister, Anna Mae Bonide.

He was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
